When George Bush the elder and almost as horrible lost his bid for re-election and Bill Clinton won there was dancing in the streets at the corner of 18th and Castro (when is there not dancing in the streets at this intersection?). When it was announced that Geoge Bush had lost a spontaneous redition of ding dong the witch is dead started! This of course was covered by the national news. Those kooks in San Francisco stories...
